Join us for our Christmas Funday at the RDA National Training Centre and take part in our Trec style winter wonderland ride. Participants will have to:
* Post a handwritten letter to Santa Claus (please bring your own letter to Santa)
* Weave in and out of the Christmas presents
* Navigate round the North Pole and through the 'double u bend'
* Pick up trot and jump the candy cane course (jumps can be poles on the ground for tiny tots!)
* Halt in the finishing box and pick your rosette off the pear tree
Extra prizes will be presented for 'best dressed' fancy dress costumes!
EVENT INFORMATION
The Funday will take place in our INDOOR arena (we can hear you cheering from here) with a warm up outdoor if required. Parents can lead children round the course - this is an inclusive event suitable for all abilities with a relaxed atmosphere - the day is all about having FUN!
Parking will be around the arena and in the overflow car park at the entrance to the site - there will be volunteers to direct you on the day.
We will have a volunteer at each gate to reduce touch points so you should be able to turn up and ride with minimal contact. Letters to post are to brought by yourselves, we cant wait to see what everyone wants for Christmas, and rosettes will be picked up from a tree prop at the end of the course so to reduce contact with volunteers.
WITHDRAWALS ~ can be made through the booking system. Refunds will be given up to 48hrs before the event, after this we won't be able to issue a refund unless the entry can be replaced.
TIMES ~ will be available here and emailed to attendees the Friday before the event. Due to Covid all competitors will be allocated times. (Please put in the notes if you are coming with other riders as we can place you close together)
DRESS CODE – CHRISTMAS FANCY DRESS!!! (bibs/ numbers not needed)
COURSE WALK– There will be opportunities to walk the courses throughout the day, more information will be provided when times are published.
